Working Principle of JAGTAP Duplex Basket Filter StrainerThese two basket filters are connected by 2 units of 3-way valves. While one of the strainers is in use, the other can be stoppedfor cleaning and vice-versa. It is the top option for the continuous process.
Structure The cover is with quick open structure which will be more easier for cleaning and changing the basket. There is also a vent valve to discharge the air during the filtration. Such filter has the features of high pressure/high temperature resistance and the operation is convenient and flexible.

BASKET FILTER / STRAINER

JAGTAP Basket filters & strainers permits the straining & filtering of a wide variety of fluids and retains solid components of almost any size. All baskets are easily removable &easy-to-clean. Basket strainer elements can be offered in single cylinder, double cylinder, multi cylinder & pleated design depending upon requirement of the application. They are constructed with filter housing, filter element supported with wedge wire screen, positive sealing arrangement to avoid any bypass & choice of end connections. Strainer has the features of advanced structure, small flowing resistance, easy to drain and etc. The strainer could be used for medium of water, oil, gas. Body material could be chosen according to clients' need and stainless steel material for inner parts. When this strainer needs to be cleaned, just takes out the removable filter cartridge and clean it which makes it very easy to maintain strainer.

Basket filter is insalled after MGF - Multimedia Or Dual media filter and before UF - Ultrafiltration System. This filter allows molecules below 50 micron. Basket filters traps particles above 50 micron. Then water passes to UF - Ultrafiltration System.
